Overview
Push notification groups let you send targeted messages to specific segments of your app users. This is useful for sharing updates with different teams, interest groups, or user types within your app. Once a group is created, you can assign users to it and select the group when sending a new push notification.
Required
Available on all Buildfire plans.
Users must have push notifications enabled on their device.
How to create a push notification group
Log in and go to Push Notifications in the left navigation.
Click the Groups tab.
In the top right, click Add Group.
Enter a Group Name and Description.
Click Add to save the group.
To send a push to this group:
Go to New Push Notification.
Select Standard Notification.
Under Audience, choose Groups.
Select your group from the list.

Troubleshooting tips
Group not showing? Refresh the page after adding the group.
Users not receiving notifications? Make sure they have push permissions enabled on their device.
