The Access Code feature allows you to block access to your app (or specific parts of it) until the user enters a valid code. This is helpful for limiting access during beta testing, private events, or internal launches. You do not need to set up tags, purchases, or login unless you want to apply additional restrictions.

Requirements

  • You do not need to set up tags, purchases, or login unless you want to apply additional restrictions.

How to use the Access Code Plugin

  1. Log in, go to User Access in the left navigation, click Access Code.

  2. Stay under the Settings Tab:

    1. Toggle on Enable Access Code.

    2. Enter the access code users will need to input.

  3. Click the Language Tab:

    1. Customize the text shown before the code is entered (e.g. welcome message or instructions).

    2. Customize the error message that appears if the code is incorrect.

    3. Save your changes.

Pro tips

  • We recommend not enabling this feature until your app has been published to the Apple App Store or Google Play Store, as doing so beforehand may result in rejection during the app review process.

  • Code not working: Make sure the code is typed exactly as entered (case-sensitive).
