In-app purchases allow you to monetize your app by selling one-time access, repeatable items, or ongoing subscriptions. Our platform supports three types of in-app purchases, each designed for a different use case.

Purchase type

What it’s used for

Example use cases

Consumable

Can be purchased repeatedly

Credits, tokens, tips, one-time actions

Non-consumable

One-time purchase with permanent access

Premium content, feature unlocks

Subscription

Recurring access while active

Memberships, courses, gated content

Before purchases can be used in your app, they must be created in the control panel and then mirrored in your Apple and Google developer accounts.

Requirements

  • This feature is available on specific plans only

  • You must have an Apple App Store Connect and/or Google Play Console account configured for in-app purchases

How to create purchases in the Control Panel

  1. Log in, go to Purchase in the left navigation

  2. Click in the Purchase tab

  3. To add a consumable product:

    • Click Add under Product

    • Enter a Product ID

      • Consumable products must use the prefix c_

      • Example: c_credits_10

    • Enter the product name and pricing details

    • Click Save

  4. To add a non-consumable product:

    • Click Add under Product

    • Enter a unique Product ID

    • Enter the product name

    • Click Save

  5. To create a subscription

    • Click Add under Subscription

    • Enter a unique Product ID

    • Click Save

  6. Verify your products

    • Confirm all Product IDs are final and correctly named

    • These Product IDs must match exactly when created in Apple App Store Connect and Google Play

Pro tips

  • iOS apps must be resubmitted every time a new product or subscription is added

  • Android apps only require one resubmission, even when adding additional products later

  • Plan your purchase structure early to minimize App Store resubmissions

  • Keep Product IDs consistent and descriptive to avoid store mismatches
