Overview
The Apple Developer Program is required to publish apps to the App Store. Once enrolled, you’ll gain access to App Store Connect, TestFlight for beta testing, and tools to manage app distribution, analytics, and app updates. Enrollment is available to individuals and organizations and includes an annual fee of $99 USD.
Required
An Apple ID with two-factor authentication enabled.
Be at least the legal age in your region.
For organizations: a D‑U‑N‑S Number and legal authority to bind the organization.
How to enroll in the Apple Developer Program
Create or sign in to your Apple ID at developer.apple.com/account.
Ensure two-factor authentication is enabled on your Apple account.
Accept the Apple Developer Agreement on first sign‑in.
Click Join the Apple Developer Program or Enroll.
Choose your entity type: Individual or Organization.
Enter personal (or legal entity) information:
Individual: legal full name and address.
Organization: legal entity name (not a DBA), D‑U‑N‑S Number, legal binding. authority, website, work email.
Provide identity verification if prompted (photo ID).
Review and agree to the License Agreement.
Complete the purchase:

Nonprofits or educational/government orgs may qualify for a fee waiver.
After purchase, you’ll receive a confirmation email.
Sign in to App Store Connect; your account should now show My Apps, Users and Access, and other tools.
Troubleshooting tips
Didn’t see the enrollment button? Confirm two-factor is enabled and you're on the correct page.
Cannot proceed as organization? You need a valid D‑U‑N‑S Number and legal authority.
Payment failed? Use a recognized credit card (Apple ID balance or gift cards don’t work).
Delayed confirmation: Give it a few hours; if you don’t receive an email within 24 hours, contact Apple Support.
