Getting Started With Your Real Estate App

More and more people are looking to get into the real estate business, and what better way to get ahead of your competition than by building an app for yourself, or your business? With a mobile app you can showcase your current listings, get in contact with potential buyers, as well as drum up excitement for upcoming listings. In this article we’ll go over some of the best features to use in our system to help you drum up more business for your real estate company.

What Are Some Great Features To Use Inside Your App?

When you’re first navigating through our system, it can be a bit daunting thanks to the vast possibilities of what can be done with your app. That's why we’ve put together a list of some features that you can start off with which we feel will help get you on the right path to creating an amazing app for your brand.

What Features Can Help Me Connect With My Clients?

Connecting with your clients is the most important part to growing your real estate business, and we have a couple of features that can help you with this! Do you want to give your clients the ability to schedule a meeting or house showing with you? With our Youcanbook.me and Calendly features you can give your clients this ability if you have accounts with those services. You can also set up forms in services such as TypeForm, JotForm, or Google Forms and bring those forms into your app with our TypeForm, JotForm, and Google Forms features.

Along with these features, you can use the Social Wall feature which can act like your app’s chatroom. You can use it to talk to your clients about important topics, mention upcoming walkthroughs, or you can use it to get to know your clients. Whenever someone joins a Social Wall they will receive a notification every time someone else posts there, so everyone is included in the conversation. This is a great way for you to build and nurture your fan community.

Outside of the Social Wall feature, the Contact Us feature is a great way to give your clients a way to get in contact with you. With it you can set up various forms of contact such as email, phone, and the address of your business. Does your real estate business have more than one agent? You can use our People feature to bring in a list of all of your agents and their contact information.

You can also bring in your social media pages like Facebook with our Facebook feature, Twitter with our Twitter feature, and Instagram with our WebView feature. This allows you to bring all of your social media pages into one place making them more easily accessible for your clients.

Along with these features, another great way to connect with your audience is through Push Notifications. With our system you have complete control over your notifications. You can send out scheduled notifications, create notification groups that deal with specific topics that users can subscribe to, as well as set up automatic notifications. We also have the GeoFence feature that allows you to send out locations-based notifications. Have an open house coming up soon? You can set up a notification to trigger whenever someone gets within a certain distance of the house which can remind them of the upcoming open house.

What Are Some Features That I Can Use To Show Off My Listings?

Along with connecting with your clients, you also need listings to show them and we have a couple of features that can help you showcase current and upcoming listings. With the Places 2.0 feature you can show users where your listings are around the area. You can even use this in conjunction with the GeoFence Feature which can help remind them of an open house coming up once they get within a certain distance of the house’s location.

You can also use our Events Manual or Events Feed features to inform users about upcoming events such as open houses that you’ll be hosting. The Events Manual Feature allows you to manually input events into the in-app calendar via the App Dashboard, while the Event Feed Feature allows you to add events to the in-app calendar by syncing it with an iCal link.

Along with these features, you can use the Flashcards feature to showcase information on listings such as square footage, number of bedrooms and bathrooms, as well as any other features that you’d like to showcase. You can also use the Image Gallery & Info Slider feature to show photos of your listings which can help drum up interest in those listings. If you have videos of your listings, you can upload those videos to YouTube or Vimeo and use our YouTube and Vimeo features to bring those videos into your app.

These are just a small handful of features that you can use in your app to help expand your reach as an artist, but we have many more in our system. We encourage you to check out all of the amazing features that we offer in our system so that you can make the best app for your brand.
