The checklist plugin lets you build task lists that users can work through directly in the app. You can add a welcome message, assign tasks, show a completion message, and even redirect users to another plugin when all tasks are finished. Each checklist item supports notes, reminders, and reordering for flexibility.
Requirements
This is a Boost plugin, available on specific plans only.
How to use the checklist plugin
Log in, go to Builder in the left navigation
Click the + button to open the Plugin Marketplace
Search for Checklist, then click Add Plugin
Name your plugin (e.g., “To-Do List”) and click Add
In the Content tab:
Choose how to add data: generate with AI, import data, or enter manually
Add a Task List Description — this is the header area where you can include text, images, videos, buttons, or links
Add a Task List Completion Message (e.g., “Congratulations, you did it!”)
(Optional) Add an Action Item to the completion message that redirects users to another plugin or app section
Create your tasks:
Enter a task description
Add tasks one by one (e.g., Task A, Task B, Task C)
Reorder tasks by dragging
Edit tasks using the pencil icon or delete them with the X icon
Test in the App Simulator:
The header description displays above the checklist
Users can bookmark the list or add general notes
Each checklist item allows:
Adding task-specific notes
Setting reminders (10 minutes, 30 minutes, 1 hour, or 1 day)
Marking the task as complete
Completing all tasks shows the completion message and, if configured, an action button that redirects to the linked plugin or section
In the Design tab:
(Optional) Enable Advanced Mode to customize design with CSS (recommended only for those familiar with CSS)
In the Security tab:
Turn on Require Login to restrict feature access to logged-in users
(Optional) Add tag-based restrictions and choose whether to match any or all tags
In the Tagging tab:
Enter a tag name to automatically apply to users when they open this feature
Click Add Tag
In the Purchase tab:
Check Require Purchase to enable
Choose your product type (e.g., Single Purchase or Subscription)
Upload an image, fill out purchase text, and success/failure messages
In the Analytics tab:
View data such as number of views, users, and devices over time
Pro tips
Use the Task List Completion Message to motivate users or direct them to the next step in your app.
Redirect to related plugins (like Training Videos or Menu Ordering) to create guided user flows.
Keep task names clear and concise for the best user experience.
