Pro tips

  • On the Vimeo side, make sure your videos are either set to Public or Unlisted in your privacy settings. Avoid using Private, as private videos can only be viewed by the creator and other account admins. This will block your app users from accessing the video.

  • Marking a video as Unlisted provides security from public discovery while still allowing your app audience to view it.

  • Use a channel feed if you want your app to automatically update with new videos.

  • Use a single video link for one-time or featured content.

  • If validation fails, confirm the link is copied directly from your Vimeo account.
