The App Sharer plugin makes it simple for users to share your app with others. You can add an image carousel, add supporting content, and customize the share message that appears when users share the app through their devices. The plugin automatically directs people to the correct App Store or Play Store link, depending on their device.

Requirements

  • This is a Boost plugin, available on the Standard, Growth, and Scale plans.

  • A published app (for the App Store or Google Play links to function).

How to use the App Sharer plugin

  1. Log in, go to Builder in the left navigation.

  2. Click the + button to open the Plugin Marketplace.

    1. Search for App Sharer, then click Add Plugin.

    2. Name your plugin (e.g., “Share Our App”) and click Add.

  3. In the Content tab:

    1. Add an image carousel for rotating images at the top of the screen.

    2. Add content body text if you want to display information at the bottom of the screen.

    3. Set up your share message (this is the message users see when they share the app link with others, e.g., “Check out this awesome app!”).

    4. Test by using the share button or QR code — both will direct users to your app’s App Store or Play Store page.

  4. In the Security tab:

    1. Turn on Require Login to restrict feature access to logged-in users.

    2. (Optional) Add tag-based restrictions and choose whether to match any or all tags.

  5. In the Tagging tab:

    1. Enter a tag name to automatically apply to users when they open this feature.

    2. Click Add Tag.

  6. In the Purchase tab:

    1. Check Require Purchase to enable.

    2. Choose your product type (e.g., Single Purchase or Subscription).

    3. Upload an image, fill out purchase text, and success/failure messages.

  7. In the Analytics tab:

    1. View data such as number of views, users, and devices over time.
