Google Calendar can be connected to your app using the Events Feed plugin. This allows you to manage your events directly in Google Calendar while automatically displaying them in your app.
Requirements
A public Google Calendar with iCal sharing enabled.
How to integrate Google Calendar into your app
Go to Google Calendar
On the left panel, under "My Calendars," find the calendar you want to share
Click the three-dot menu next to the calendar name > Settings and sharing
Scroll to Integrate calendar
Copy the Public address in iCal format. Do not use the Public URL (HTML format)—only the iCal address works with your app
Log in, go to Builder in the left navigation
Click the + button at the top left to open the Plugin Marketplace
Search for Events Feed, then click Add Plugin
Name your plugin and choose whether to add it to the side menu, then click Add
Stay in the Content tab
Paste the iCal link into the Calendar URL field
Click Validate to test the link
Your Google Calendar events should appear in the preview
Pro tips
Users can click on an event in the app to see its details and choose Add to Calendar to sync it to their own device.
Use separate calendars for different event types and connect each with its own plugin instance.
Troubleshooting tips
Events not showing? Check that your calendar is public and you copied the correct iCal URL.
Only some events appear? Make sure each event is also marked as public.
