How to use the Image Gallery plugin

Create a simple, organized gallery to display images in your app, with optional folders for easier browsing.

The Image Gallery plugin lets you add and organize images inside your app. You can display images in a single gallery or group them into folders to help users browse large collections more easily. Users can tap images to view, zoom, and share them.

  • This is a Boost plugin, available on specific plans only


How to use the Image Gallery plugin

  1. Log in, go to Builder in the left navigation

  2. Click the + button to open the Plugin Marketplace

    • Search for Image Gallery, then click Add Plugin

    • Name your plugin and choose whether to add it to the side menu, then click Add

  3. Stay in the Content tab

    • Choose how you want to add images

      1. Select Enter Manually to upload and manage images yourself

      2. (Optional) Use Import Data or Generate AI Data if applicable

    • Click Add Images to upload images

      1. Select images from your media library or upload new ones

      2. Images save automatically as you add them

    • (Optional) Create folders to organize images

      1. Click Edit to add or rename a folder

      2. Select existing uploaded images to place inside the folder

      3. Click Save to apply folder changes

    • Review your gallery layout

      1. Images and folders display exactly as users will see them in the app

      2. Users can tap images to view, zoom, and share them

    • Repeat as needed to add more images or folders

  4. Click the Security tab:

    • Turn on Require Login to restrict feature access to logged-in users

    • (Optional) Add tag-based restrictions and choose whether to match any or all tags

  5. Click the Tagging tab:

    • Enter a tag name to automatically apply to users when they open this feature

    • Click Add Tag

  6. Click the Purchase tab:

    • Check Require Purchase to enable

    • Choose your product type (e.g., Single Purchase or Subscription)

    • Upload an image, fill out purchase text, and success/failure messages

  7. Click the Analytics tab to see feature performance:

    • View data such as number of views, users, and devices over time


Pro tips

  • Use folders when you have multiple image categories to make browsing easier

  • Keep image sizes and styles consistent for a cleaner gallery layout

  • Test image zoom and sharing on a physical device for best results
